I had a very special client this last year, my Sister! She and her husband Josh were expecting their first daughter, and so we planned a maternity session to make a surprise book for Josh. I pulled triple duty as hairstylist, makeup artist, and wardrobe stylist for the shoot. I took Kelly around Chicago and we had a great time capturing some special moments.
After Cadence arrived, it was my turn to take a trip to Louisville to photograph Cadence for her Newborn Session. She’s a beautiful baby, and I’m looking forward to their visit this coming weekend!
When my long time client and friend Sam got engaged and started talking about her wedding, we were both very excited. Sam + Ryan have been together since they were teenagers. Their relationship is strong and has weathered many years already. They have an adorable son, Cayden, who is one of my favorite portrait clients. Sam owns Flaunt Salon in Countryside, Il. She is one of my favorite hairstylist to work with on my own shoots. (She also does my hair!) So it was no surprise that the couple chose to have an adventurous wedding. About 40 of their closest friends and family also made the journey to Punta Cana to see Sam and Ryan make it official on the beach at sunset in front of the ocean waves crashing.
